DANIEL  R. YATES

Hello Everyone,

 

My name is Dan Yates. I come from a large tight nitch family in a small farming comunity named Hesperia. Growing up my family and community instilled many great values in me such as, Respect, Honesty, Loyalty, Trust, Perserverance, and much much more. I have always pushed my physical and mental limitations to acheive my lives ambitions. Due to that I have always exceled in any and all of my life asperations. I was a 4 year president of my class, national honor society member, a 4 x All- State Wrestler, 3x State Champion, Senior National Champion, and Graduated with a 3.89 and recieved Highest Honors. Moving on from High School I decided to seek a challenge and that is exactly what I found in the University Of Michigan. Not only amongst the top in its acidemic standards but also some of the most feirce and prestigous athletic programs in the nation. Throughout college I faced many challanges which forced me to push my limits further then every before. Through both my endevors at the University of Michigan I have grown and developed athletically, intulaectually, and as an overall person. It is due to this growth and development that I know I am going to continue to succeed in all live has to offer. I am currently pursuing work as a collegiate wrestling coach, once hired I plan to begin working towards my Masters' in Sports and Exercise Nutrition Sciences.
